Live Seminar CE Credit Information
Social Workers:  Massachusetts Social Workers, including NASW members, will receive 6 CE hours of credit for each course. Commonwealth Educational Seminars, provider #1117, is approved as a Provider for Social Work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Commonwealth Educational Seminars maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB is a Recognized Entity by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Workers for continuing education credit. Licensed social workers in other states should contact their individual state jurisdiction to review the current continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Psychologists: Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor Continuing Education for Psychologists. Psychologists attending these programs will receive 5 Continuing Education Hours credit. CES maintains responsibility for these programs. |
Licensed Mental Health Counselors:  Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselors, including Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association (MAMHCA) members, will receive 6 continuing education hours for each program. The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health Professionals accepts continuing education credit offered by NBCC Approved Sponsors for Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Commonwealth Educational Seminars is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors (5596). We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines. Each of these programs is approved for 6 Continuing Education hours. |
Substance Abuse Counselors:  Commonwealth Educational Seminars is approved by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Approved Education Provider Program #174. Six contact hours of continuing education credit is granted for each of these programs. |
Massachusetts Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (I-III):  LADCs will receive 6 Continuing Education hours for each of these programs. As A NAADAC and NBCC Approved Sponsor, CES is a Recognized Entity by the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts. Our offerings may be used to satisfy the continuing education requirements for Massachusetts LADCs. |
Nurses: RN & LPN: Massachusetts Registered Nurses including members of Massachusetts Nurses Association, and Licensed Practical Nurses, will receive 6 contact hours credit for each program. Each offering meets the Continuing Education requirements for nurses as specified by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing - 244 CMR 5.04. |
Certified Counselors:  Commonwealth Educational Seminars is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors (5596). Educators: Commonwealth Educational Seminars is a Registered Provider in Massachusetts. Massachusetts educators will receive a certificate for 5 Continuing Education hours. You may receive PDPs from your district by combining these hours with follow-up activities in your district for a total of 10 hours or more. |
