Commonwealth Educational Seminars & Home Study was formed in 1993 by Saralee Perel, LICSW and her husband, Bob Daly. Having been in private practice for 22 years, Saralee had attended numerous conferences, many of which she felt were lacking in stimulation and relevant information for her practice.

In developing their own programs, Perel and Daly carefully research and select presenters who are not only the finest in their professional knowledge base, but experienced experts in presenting conferences that not only cater to a practitioner’s needs but keep audiences awake!

Why should you attend our seminars?

We have excellent speakers and interesting topics.

We choose subjects which, naturally, are relevant to your practice, but are also helpful in your own lives. For example “Mothers And Daughters” was our most highly attended topic. So was “The Psychology of Compulsive Eating”.

We set up our programs to be as comfortable as they are informative.

You will always have a table to write on, rather than having to sit for hours in a chair while you try to take notes in your lap.

We try to keep our tuition low.

While others charge $120-150, our tuition fee is $79. If you register for more than one seminar, the tuition drops to $75 for all of them. Additional discounts can reduce your tuition to $63 per seminar.

We reward loyalty.

After you attend seven of our programs, the eighth one is free. This covers registrations all the way back to 1995.

We don’t charge you more if you sign up at the last minute.

There is no difference in early and late registration fees or increased tuition if you sign up at the door.

You can register by phone toll-free 24 hours/day, as well as here, online. You can also register by mail or fax.

We have a great cancellation policy.

If you can’t make it, just give us 48 hours notice and you get a full refund. No, you don’t need to give us this notice in letter form. Just give us a call. If you can’t give us 48 hours, we will give you a refund less a $20 fee that we had already given the hotel for your space.

If it is inclement weather, and you feel it is dangerous to drive, just let us know and we’ll give you a full refund, even if the seminar is still held. We don’t want you to be uncomfortable driving.

We try to be understanding and human.

We’re not going to charge you a replacement fee if you lost a Certificate of Attendance from a seminar you took three years before. (We have been known to lose things ourselves.)
